The people of Haiti are suffering. What was a poor economic society is now left devastated in the aftermath of the largest earthquake this area has seen in over 200 years. Those who are on the ground are doing what they can but they need help and support.Central has organized a fundraiser which will donate all of the money raised by this Friday to Doctors Without Borders in an attempt to help the medical aid making it's way into this country. We are taking donations through this Friday - give what you can, every bit helps. Keep in mind that when this natural disaster has slithered out of the headlines and is no longer a topic for discussion on the press' agenda - Haiti will still suffer, and will continue to seek support. Do what you can, do your part.

Dear Nicole,
My family is from Haiti and many of them still live there. We fortunate that there were only injuries and no deaths in my family. However, many others were not that fortunate. My father is there now providing medical services and reports that the conditions are horrible. As a person whose family has been personally affected by this catastrophy, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this generous and kind gesture by CFC and all those who donate.

Claudia - I'm so glad to hear there were no deaths in your immediate family, I know this devastated so many people. The power this community has to come together and help people is always inspiring.
